Chef Sung Anh recently shared his candid thoughts on wishes when meeting Suzy, capturing the audience's attention.
On Chef Sung Anh's YouTube channel, 'Chef Sung Anh,' a new video titled 'Suzy's Gambas Recipe That Calls for a Drink' was uploaded.
In the video, Suzy appears, and Chef Sung Anh, revealing himself as a fan, says, "I've always found you charming on TV and during your music career, but standing next to you now feels surreal." He then humorously adds, "I heard you wanted to meet me too."
Suzy, also a fan of Chef Sung Anh, responds, "I really enjoyed 'Black and White Chef' and saw you on 'Questions.' I found you to be such a genuine and impressive person, and I wanted to be on your show." Chef Sung Anh jokingly asks the crew for tissues, eliciting laughter.
Suzy then mentions her upcoming series, 'The Genie That Grants All Wishes.' The show is a stress-free, fantasy romantic comedy about a genie (played by Kim Woo-bin) who awakens after a thousand years and meets Ga-young (played by Suzy), a person lacking emotions, as they navigate three wishes.
Suzy shares that she enjoys cooking appetizers because she likes drinking. Together with Chef Sung Anh, they prepare and enjoy spinach gambas and spicy spinach stir-fry, accompanied by a glass of soju. Suzy asks Chef Sung Anh, "If you met a genie, what three wishes would you make?"
Chef Sung Anh replies, "I have to seriously consider this question. As a chef, I'm already living my dream, filming YouTube videos and being a judge on 'Black and White Chef.' I've achieved many of my childhood dreams."
He continues, "Of course, there's still a long way to go, but I've accomplished so much of what I dreamed of as a child. When I think about what's precious to me, it's the challenging journey. I don't think I have any wishes." Suzy responds, "Your words resonate with the message of my series, and I think it would be great if people viewed it from that perspective."
