K-Pop Group izna Returns as Six-Member Band with 'Not Just Pretty'

K-pop group izna makes a comeback as a six-member band following the departure of former member Yoon Ji-yoon.

izna, consisting of Mai, Bang Jee-min, Koko, Ryu Sa-rang, Choi Jung-eun, and Jeong Sae-bi, held a media showcase on the 30th at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second mini-album, 'Not Just Pretty'.

Prior to this comeback, main vocalist Yoon Ji-yoon left the group last month due to health reasons, leading to izna's reformation as a six-member band. Ryu Sa-rang expressed, "It's unfortunate that we can't perform with Ji-yoon, but we support each other's paths. We've poured our hearts into each song, so we hope for your interest and support in this comeback."

The second mini-album showcases a bold departure from izna's previous style. The album includes five tracks: the title track 'Mamma Mia', 'Supercrush', 'Racecar', 'In the Rain', and 'SIGN (Remix)'. The title track 'Mamma Mia' tells the story of a girl confidently moving forward despite the world's interference, characterized by its addictive sound and minimal beat. The hitmaker Teddy participated in producing the title track.

izna's second mini-album 'Not Just Pretty' will be released at 6 PM today.
