82MAJOR, known as a 'performance idol' group, amped up the excitement at the ATA Festival stage ahead of their comeback.
82MAJOR, consisting of Nam Sung-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Jo Sung-il, Hwang Sung-bin, and Kim Do-kyun, took the stage on the second day of the '2025 ATA Festival' held on the 28th at Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul. Despite the drizzling rain in the morning, the weather cleared up as 82MAJOR appeared, bringing sunshine to the event.
Set to make their comeback next month, 82MAJOR stands out among many groups with their unique strengths. The group confidently stated, "Our chemistry as members and the authenticity in our music and performances are our distinguishing factors."
The song they are most eager to share with the public is 'Choke.' This track embodies 82MAJOR's confident and intense attitude, featuring cleverly crafted lyrics inspired by basketball. "'Choke' marks a turning point for us, with its addictive chorus being a major attraction," the group explained.
With just about three months left in the year, 82MAJOR expressed their aspirations, saying, "We couldn't mention all our company staff during our last award ceremony speech. We aim to win an award at the year-end ceremony and acknowledge everyone." They are also targeting a number one spot on music shows, with members ambitiously declaring, "We will achieve it within two months of our comeback."
Debuting in 2023, 82MAJOR has evolved into a 'performance idol' through solo concerts, a North American tour, and various festival stages both domestically and internationally. Building a solid fanbase through performances, 82MAJOR held their first domestic fan meeting on the 20th.
