During the episode, a furious Lee Kyung confronted Kang Eun-soo, asking, "Do you really want to die?" Startled, Kang Eun-soo knelt before him, pleading, "Please give me just one chance," and promised, "I will do anything." She continued to beg, "Please, for the sake of my family, spare me." Lee Kyung then asked, "Will you really do anything?" to which Kang Eun-soo agreed.
Lee Kyung demanded, "Then bring everything to me. Bring all the pills you stole." Kang Eun-soo was visibly shocked by the request. Lee Kyung added, "If you do that, I might spare your life." Caught in a dilemma, Kang Eun-soo felt she had no choice but to comply with Lee Kyung's demands. However, she ultimately betrayed him.
In a rush, Lee Kyung collided with a passerby, causing his pills to spill onto the ground. Bystanders were taken aback, questioning, "Aren't you going to apologize for bumping into someone?" Unfazed, Lee Kyung hurriedly picked up the scattered pills.
As he picked up a pill and placed it in his mouth, he realized the medication had been switched. While Lee Kyung chuckled in disbelief, Kang Eun-soo was on her way to the police station with the swapped bag.
Standing in front of the police station, Kang Eun-soo thought, "A cornered mouse will bite the cat." Meanwhile, a furious Lee Kyung listened to a voicemail from Kang Eun-soo, who said, "No matter how much I think about it, I can't give you the pills," adding, "Since you won't change your mind, there's nothing I can do." She concluded with, "Let's just die together." Enraged, Lee Kyung sprinted once more.
Earlier, three hours before the confrontation, Kang Eun-soo had swapped the pills with a large quantity of peppermint candies. As Lee Kyung raced to find Kang Eun-soo, she was already at the police station, opening the door.
