Lee Moo-jin Charms Audience with Wit and Hits at Asia Top Artist Festival 2025

Singer Lee Moo-jin delighted fans by mentioning his hit song 'Traffic Light' with a touch of humor.

On the 27th, the 'Asia Top Artist Festival 2025' (ATA Festival) took place at Hangang Nanji Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The headliner for the event was singer and musical actor Kim Junsu, with Jannabi and Peppertones as sub-headliners. Other performers included Lee Moo-jin, 10CM, Park Hye-won, Kyung Seo, H1-KEY, Say My Name, and Hwang Garam.

Lee Moo-jin opened his set with the hit song 'Traffic Light.' As the music began, he greeted the audience, saying, "It's great to greet you in such a wonderful place." He emphasized audience safety by suggesting, "The space between people is narrow, so for safety reasons, you might want to move slowly, two or three steps at a time. Safety is the top priority."

Following a warm reception for 'Can I Have a Moment,' he humorously remarked, "I'm surprised everyone sang along. It's a challenging song, and I'm out of breath," drawing laughter from the crowd. He then picked up his guitar and performed 'Is There Anyone,' further energizing the atmosphere.

After finishing 'Mask World,' he shared heartfelt sentiments, saying, "Isn't it wonderful to gather, enjoy, communicate, and empathize in one place despite the heat? Seeing people enjoying themselves without their personas makes me happy."

Lee Moo-jin also entertained the audience with witty remarks. He joked, "Is anyone camping out here tonight? Surely everyone has a home. I thought we could leave and come back with our tickets, but that wasn't the case." He continued, "People in the front are saying they're short on water. Perhaps the staff could provide some," earning applause from the audience.

He then performed 'Baepsae' and 'Episode' back-to-back, and humorously posed the question, "Not singing 'Traffic Light' for a year vs. only singing 'Traffic Light' for a year." He added, "Sometimes when I'm on stage, young fans ask, 'Hyung, please sing Traffic Light.' I joke, 'Wait a bit, if I don't sing it, I'll have to pay a penalty,'" making the audience laugh. Lee Moo-jin also showed his warm side by reading messages from fans' sketchbooks and signing autographs upon request.

Finally, Lee Moo-jin commented on the sunset over the Han River. He said, "I love performing during the sunset hours of 5-6 PM. I've loved sunsets since I was young. From my earliest memories, my favorite color has been orange. Today, everything is bathed in orange. I'm so grateful to meet all of you in this orange hue," and concluded with 'Youth Comic.'

The 'ATA Festival' is an event with a diverse lineup of artists that people of all ages can enjoy. On the second day, the headliner will be Kim Jaejoong. Other performers include The Boyz, Tours, Cravity, Ha Sung-woon, Fifty Fifty, 82Major, QWER, Eunice, Bad Villain, and New Beat.
