NewJeans' mega-hit 'Hype Boy' has surpassed 700 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.

According to Spotify on the 26th, 'Hype Boy,' one of the triple title tracks from NewJeans' debut album 'New Jeans,' reached 701,693,307 streams as of the 24th. This marks NewJeans' fourth song to surpass 700 million streams on Spotify, following 'OMG,' 'Ditto,' and 'Super Shy.'

'Hype Boy' is a debut track by NewJeans, featuring a refreshing and sophisticated sound that combines Moombahton and Electropop. Released in August 2022, it quickly dominated charts both domestically and internationally, creating a global phenomenon.

The cool and hip choreography of 'Hype Boy' sparked a worldwide challenge craze and even led to the creation of the meme 'NewJeans' Hype Boy.' Despite being released over three years ago, the song remains a staple on major domestic music charts, continuing to receive immense love.

NewJeans, an artist under HYBE's music label ADOR, has produced a total of 15 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify. 'OMG' and 'Ditto' have surpassed 800 million streams, 'Super Shy' and 'Hype Boy' have over 700 million, 'Attention' has over 500 million, 'New Jeans' has over 400 million, 'ETA' has over 300 million, and 'Cookie,' 'Hurt,' 'Cool With You,' and 'How Sweet' have over 200 million.
