Playing the honest character Ryu Eun-jung, Kim Go-eun seamlessly transitions from a vibrant youth to a middle-aged woman filled with regrets and scars, covering ages 20 to 40. "To portray different ages, I focused not only on makeup and costumes but also on varying my dialogue and gestures," she explained.

"In her 20s, Eun-jung needed to have a fresh, youthful look, so I gained some weight. In her 30s, as a professional, her gestures and speech were influenced by her surroundings, which I portrayed with depth. For Eun-jung in her 40s, I emphasized her aura and energy, as there wasn't much physical change from her late 30s," she added.

At the press conference on the 5, Kim Go-eun was moved to tears recalling the narrative of 'You and Everything Else,' indicating her deep immersion in the story. "The relationship between Eun-jung and Sang-yeon goes beyond mere friendship," she noted.

"They had a profound impact on each other, more than just friends. They are deeply connected as human beings, encompassing both friendship and love. Friendship is indeed a form of love," she laughed.

Kim Go-eun shared that she has experienced feelings of envy and jealousy similar to those felt by her character, Ryu Eun-jung. "I mentioned something similar in an interview around 2015," she said. "Then and now, I strive to feel admiration rather than jealousy."

"It's natural to feel jealous and envious at times. But I try to think, 'I want to be like that person. I should learn from them,' and transform those feelings into admiration. This mindset shift gives me strength," she explained.

When asked about her chemistry with Park Ji-hyun, Kim Go-eun said, "We got along very well." She added, "In the series, Sang-yeon says she wants to live forever in the story, and filming this project felt like creating an eternal story with her, which made me happy."

"I supported Ji-hyun mentally, while she took care of the external aspects. She would casually give me necessary items or say, 'It might be cold,' and hand me a coat. When I was tired, she would give me a piece of chocolate. Acting together was truly enjoyable," she shared.
