Actress Ki Eun-se has directly addressed rumors concerning her ex-husband on the Channel A show 'Four-Person Dining Table'.
On the October 22nd episode of 'Four-Person Dining Table', Ki Eun-se appeared alongside fellow actresses Shin Da-eun, Kim Yoon-ji, and Park Kyung-lim.
During the show, Ki Eun-se revealed her plans to move next year, having secured her own place. She shared, "When I moved here, I bought a moon jar hoping to become wealthy. While I haven't enjoyed wealth, I've been saving well. I think I've achieved my goal."
Ki Eun-se also showcased her much-talked-about dressing room, which resembles a boutique. She explained, "After working in fashion for about 8-9 years, I've accumulated clothes, shoes, and bags," adding humorously, "When I was younger, I spent my advertising fees on luxury shoes."
When asked about her collection of mini luxury bags in various colors, Ki Eun-se said, "I bought them because I wanted to experience success. I never thought I could have them."
Ki Eun-se also opened up about her challenging journey in acting, stating, "My 20s were a series of waiting. I always wanted to be a star, but I gave up acting because I was unhappy."
Addressing the public perception of her as a 'silver spoon' who grew up privileged, Ki Eun-se discussed the gap between her real self and her public image. She said, "People think I just lived well, married someone wealthy, and now live well alone thanks to my ex-husband's wealth."
She clarified, "People think I'm benefiting from my ex-husband, but I've never taken anything from anyone. I have nothing that was given to me by others. My current life is possible because of the failures I experienced in my 20s."
Ki Eun-se married a Korean-American businessman 12 years her senior in 2012, but they divorced in 2021 due to personality differences. The couple did not have any children.
