Song Joong-ki's Heartfelt Confession Captivates Viewers on 'My Youth'
Song Joong-ki's sincere confession left viewers swooning.

On the September 19th episode of JTBC's 'My Youth' (directed by Lee Sang-yeob and Go Hye-jin, written by Park Si-hyun), viewers witnessed Sun Woo-hae (played by Song Joong-ki) confessing his feelings to Sung Jae-in (played by Chun Woo-hee).

During the episode, Sun Woo-hae presented Sung Jae-in with a bouquet of flowers. He said, "Giving you these flowers doesn't erase the past, but consider it my apology," adding, "You embraced me, after all."

Sun Woo-hae continued, "Even if we can't change the past, I'll only remember the times you embraced me," and apologized for discarding the bouquet. He explained, "When I was younger, I wasn't in a place to accept such a beautiful gesture." Sung Jae-in responded, "Even if you don't remember yourself that way, you were quite dazzling," adding, "Despite everything else."

When Sun Woo-hae remarked, "That's in the past," Sung Jae-in replied, "You were in the past too," and teased, "You were asleep back then." Sun Woo-hae confessed, "I often went to school just to see you," and admitted, "I appeared on the show to see you a few more times, and I realized I had forgotten for too long."

Sun Woo-hae then confessed, "This is what happens when you like someone," and asked, "If you're not seeing anyone, would you like to date me?" Sung Jae-in replied, "I knew this was coming," and explained, "While others might date easily, I don't think I can." Sun Woo-hae accepted her response, saying, "Alright," and advised, "Change the water for those flowers once a day." As Sun Woo-hae walked away, Sung Jae-in hesitated but called out his name. When he turned around, she said, "Don't walk down dark paths."
