Yoo-mi Lee has shared the key points to watch in the thriller drama 'You Killed'.
Amid the ongoing 30th Busan International Film Festival, an outdoor stage greeting for the Netflix series 'You Killed' was held on the 19th at the Busan Cinema Center in Udong. Director Lee Jung-lim, along with actors So-ni Jeon, Yoo-mi Lee, Seung-jo Jang, and Moo-saeng Lee, were in attendance.
Based on the novel by Hideo Okuda, 'You Killed' tells the story of two women who decide to commit murder as they face a reality they can't escape without killing or being killed. The plot unfolds as Eun-soo (played by So-ni Jeon), who lives with trauma, and Hee-soo (played by Yoo-mi Lee), who suffers abuse from her husband, become entangled in unexpected events after deciding to murder.
Yoo-mi Lee revealed her reason for joining the project, saying, "As I read the script, I immersed myself in the character of Hee-soo. I was unsure if I could pull it off, but the director guided me well, making it impossible not to take on this project."
She added, "Each episode presents difficult choices for the characters, and viewers will find themselves rooting for those choices." She also urged viewers to watch the series, saying, "Please watch the journey of Hee-soo finding happiness and the friendship between Eun-soo and Hee-soo. My personal color is blood and bruises. Even with bruises, I look pretty. Please watch our series."
'You Killed' is set to premiere on Netflix on November 7.
The 30th Busan International Film Festival runs from September 17 to 26 at the Busan Cinema Center.
