Shin Ye-eun is set to unveil a new persona in the upcoming Disney+ original historical series 'Turbid Waters'.
On October 18, at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae, the outdoor stage greeting for Disney+'s first original historical series 'Turbid Waters' took place as part of the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) 'On Screen' section. Director Choo Chang-min, along with actors Rowoon, Shin Ye-eun, Park Seo-ham, Park Ji-hwan, and Choi Gwi-hwa, were in attendance.
'Turbid Waters' is an action drama set around Gyeonggang, where all the money and resources of Joseon converge. It tells the story of individuals with different dreams who strive to overturn a corrupt world and live with dignity.
Shin Ye-eun shared, "I portray a remarkable woman who excels in business. She encounters many people in the world of commerce, faces numerous shocks, and overcomes obstacles step by step towards her goals."
When asked about her role, she replied, "You will see a completely different side of me compared to what I've shown before." She added, "The director captured a lot of my inherent purity. Please consider that a charm point."
Director Choo commented, "In the drama, you'll see how much martial arts practice Park Seo-ham has done, how beautiful Shin Ye-eun's bare face is, and how impressive Rowoon's physique is. You'll also witness the excellent acting skills of the rest of the cast."
