Kim Jong-kook's Intimate Wedding: Why 'My Little Old Boy' Cast Wasn't Invited

Singer Kim Jong-kook recently tied the knot, but it has been revealed that he did not invite his 'My Little Old Boy' co-stars, including Kim Hee-chul, to the wedding. While many fans congratulated Kim on his marriage, some expressed surprise at the intimate nature of the event.

On the October 14th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy,' Kim Jong-kook was seen meeting with Kim Hee-chul and Kim Dong-hyun. During the episode, Seo Jang-hoon shared that he learned about Kim's marriage just hours before the public announcement. "I got a sudden call. He hesitated and then said, 'I'm going to talk about it on 'Running Man' soon, so just be aware,'" Seo recounted.

Kim Hee-chul expressed his disappointment at not being invited to the wedding. "Why didn't you invite the 'My Little Old Boy' team? I feel a distance between us," he said. Kim Jong-kook explained, "If it had been a large wedding, I would have invited you. But we kept it small, with only 50 guests from each side."

Kim Jong-kook further clarified that he only invited people he sees at least once a week or those he frequently contacts. He also mentioned that Tak Jae-hoon was not invited. 'My Little Old Boy' MC Shin Dong-yup was invited based on his mother's suggestion, and Seo Jang-hoon was invited due to their long-standing friendship.

Regarding the roles at the wedding, Kim Jong-kook shared, "I initially wanted a friend to host, but Yoo Jae-suk offered to do it. As for the wedding song, I plan to sing it myself."
