Singer Kim Eui-young has been voted as the number one trot singer people want to go on a drive with at the end of summer.
From September 4th to 10th, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to go on a drive with at the end of summer?'
Kim Eui-young topped the list. She gained public recognition by finishing fifth on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. In May, Kim released her fourth single album 'STARTrot PART.1', produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track, 'Do Whatever You Want', is a dance trot song that captures Kim's bright and refreshing energy.
Second place went to Eunga-eun. Born in 1987, Eunga-eun debuted with the digital single 'Drop it' in 2013. She tied the knot with trot singer Park Hyun-ho in April this year. A month later, in May, she appeared with her husband on Channel A's 'Modern Men's Life - Groom Class', showcasing their newlywed life. Eunga-eun continues to engage with fans through various performances and broadcasts.
In third place is Kim Da-hyun. On the 11th, Kim released a new song 'Thousand-Year Love' along with a music video filmed around Gyeongju, wishing for the successful hosting of the 'Gyeongju APEC Summit'. He plans to meet audiences at various autumn festival stages across the country.
Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to eat seasonal raw fish with this coming fall?', 'Which female singer would you like to eat seasonal raw fish with this coming fall?', 'Which male trot singer would you like to eat seasonal raw fish with this coming fall?', and 'Which female trot singer would you like to eat seasonal raw fish with this coming fall?'
