Actor Jeon Bae-soo is set to star in the Disney+ original series 'Turbid Waters'.
'Turbid Waters' is an action drama set in the Joseon era, revolving around Gyeonggang, a hub of wealth and resources. The series follows the destinies of individuals striving to overturn a corrupt world and live with dignity, each pursuing their own dreams.
Jeon Bae-soo will portray Kang Haeng-soo, the steward of the Choi trading company. Known as a seasoned merchant and a stalwart figure within the company, Kang Haeng-soo will serve as a reliable right-hand man to Choi Eun, played by Shin Ye-eun, as she navigates the rough-and-tumble world of commerce.
Jeon Bae-soo has been beloved by audiences for his relatable image and nuanced performances in both television and film, with credits including the dramas 'When the Camellia Blooms', 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo', 'Queen of Tears', and films like 'Kingmaker' and 'Confidential Assignment 2: International'.
'Turbid Waters' will premiere on Disney+ on the 26th, with the first three episodes available initially, followed by two new episodes each week, culminating in a total of nine episodes.
