Kim Da-mi Returns to JTBC Drama After 5 Years with 'A Hundred Memories'

Actress Kim Da-mi shared her thoughts on returning to a JTBC drama after five years.

On the 11th, a press conference for JTBC's new weekend drama 'A Hundred Memories' was held at The Link Hotel Seoul in Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Kim Sang-ho and actors Kim Da-mi, Shin Ye-eun, and Heo Nam-joon.

'A Hundred Memories' is a youth melodrama set in the 1980s, depicting the radiant friendship between bus conductor Young-rae (played by Kim Da-mi) and Jong-hee (played by Shin Ye-eun), and their poignant first love surrounding their destined man, Jae-pil (played by Heo Nam-joon).

Kim Da-mi takes on the role of Go Young-rae, a model bus conductor and the eldest daughter who supports her family while holding onto her dreams. She is a diligent and intelligent character with a quirky charm that no one can stop once she gets going.

Kim Da-mi expressed, "The writer mentioned that there is a unique first love emotion from that era. I wanted to portray those emotions in a way that aligns with the period."

Returning to a JTBC drama for the first time since 'Itaewon Class' five years ago, Kim Da-mi added, "I'm thrilled to be part of such an entertaining drama. I hope many people will enjoy it. I'm eagerly anticipating the broadcast and ask for your love and support."

'A Hundred Memories' is set to premiere on the 13th at 10:40 PM.
