KATSEYE, the global girl group formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, continues to make waves on the U.S. Billboard charts. Following their success on the 'Hot 100', they are now climbing the main album chart.
According to the latest Billboard chart released on September 13, KATSEYE's second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' has secured the 28th spot on the 'Billboard 200'.
Released on June 27, 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' initially debuted at an impressive 4th place on the July 12 chart, marking the group's highest entry. The album has shown remarkable staying power, remaining on the chart for 10 consecutive weeks, highlighting its enduring popularity even two months post-release.
The group's performances at 'Lollapalooza Chicago' and 'Summer Sonic 2025' have been pivotal in boosting their chart position. After a brief dip into the 60s, the album climbed to 53rd on August 30, then to 45th on September 6, and has now jumped 17 spots to its current position.
KATSEYE's momentum is also evident on the Billboard main song chart. In the latest 'Hot 100' dated September 13, their tracks 'Gabriela' and 'Gnarly' are ranked at 64 and 100, respectively. The rising sales of these songs and the album as a whole indicate a growing global influence beyond a one-time surge in popularity.
The group recently won the 'PUSH Performance of the Year' trophy at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
KATSEYE was formed through the global audition project 'Dream Academy', which attracted 120,000 applicants worldwide. They debuted in the U.S. in June last year, under the training and development system of HYBE America. Starting in November, they will embark on their first solo North American tour.
