Red Velvet's Wendy has been voted as the number one female singer people want to go leaf-peeping with this fall.
The poll, conducted by TENASIA from the 1st to the 7th of this month, asked fans, 'Which female singer would you like to go see the fall foliage with?' Wendy emerged as the top choice. She is set to release her new solo album 'Cerulean Verge' on September 10, marking her first album in about a year and a half since her mini-album 'Wish You Hell' in March last year. This upcoming release is also her first since signing an exclusive contract with Ascend, following her departure from SM Entertainment in April.
In second place is Girls' Generation's Yoona, who is currently starring as chef Yoon Ji-young in the tvN drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.' Yoona is also engaging with her fans through a series of fan meetings titled 'Bon appétit, Your Majesty YOONA DRAMA FANMEETING,' starting in Yokohama on September 28, followed by events in Macau on October 12, Ho Chi Minh City on October 18, and Taipei on November 23.
Girls' Generation's Yuri secured the third spot. She is currently splitting her time between Jeju Island and Seoul. Yuri recently participated in a promotional event hosted by the Jeju Tourism Organization and has returned to the big screen as the lead in the film 'Somebody.' Additionally, she made a special appearance as Song Ji-oh in the JTBC weekend drama 'The Art of Negotiation.'
Meanwhile, TENASIA website is hosting ongoing polls on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to go see the fall foliage with?' and similar questions for male and female trot singers.
