Sound Planet Festival 2025: Celebrating 30 Years of YB, Crying Nut, and Envy with Webtoon and AI Media Art

The 'Sound Planet Festival 2025' is set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of iconic bands YB, Crying Nut, and Envy with a unique blend of webtoon and AI media art. This event marks the 30th anniversary of the legendary Rolling Hall, a revered venue in the music scene.

In a groundbreaking collaboration, eight webtoon artists have come together to create a fusion of webtoon and media art, offering a new cultural experience that bridges music and visual art. Attendees can expect to enjoy a diverse array of artistic styles alongside live performances, promising a fresh and exciting experience.

The special exhibition, led by art director Lee Ji-soo, features the works of eight artists including Kyuhee (known for 'Umo on Earth'), Oh Hae-tae ('Manage Everything for Me!'), Harang ('Mongdol Mongdol'), Han Jeong-hyo, Passing Artist, Luri, Jo Hwi-in, and Na Gwang. The exhibition will be set up on the first floor of the Chroma Stage, allowing festival-goers to take a break and enjoy the art between performances.

Artist Kyuhee expressed her excitement, saying, "I'm thrilled to participate in the Sound Planet Festival as an artist. Sharing this unique experience where music and art intertwine with the audience is an honor and a meaningful milestone in my work." Han Jeong-hyo also shared his gratitude, stating, "I'm thankful for the opportunity to exhibit alongside such talented artists. It's been a valuable experience."

The 'Sound Planet Festival 2025' will take place on the 13th and 14th at Paradise City in Incheon. The lineup includes national bands like YB and Crying Nut, as well as Cherry Filter, Nell, WOODZ, Xdinary Heroes, Kim Jaejoong, Urban Zakapa, and Bolbbalgan4, offering a rich array of performances across various genres and generations. In addition to music, the festival will feature exhibitions, events, and a variety of programs.
