MBC's variety show 'Around the World 4' has been honored with the travel show award for the third consecutive year. The accolade was presented at the '2025 Brand of the Year Awards' ceremony held at the Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul on the 28th.
A day before the award ceremony, Kian84 reunited in Korea with Nepali Sherpa youths Tamang and Rai, whom he met during the journey of season 4. For Tamang and Rai, it marked their first overseas trip and first visit to Korea, turning a special bond from the show into a meaningful real-life connection.
Kian84 shared a photo of their reunion on his social media with the caption, "Tamang, Rai, be happy~" The trio's bright smiles warmed the hearts of viewers, showcasing the genuine relationships formed on 'Around the World 4' that extend beyond the program into real life.
From its premiere, 'Around the World 4' broke previous season records for the 2049 demographic ratings, starting off strong and maintaining high viewership and buzz throughout its run. It notably secured the top spot in Sunday variety show ratings for the 2049 demographic, demonstrating strong brand loyalty.
