On the 27th at midnight, Daesung's Japanese version of 'Umbrella' was officially released on online music platforms worldwide. The song was first introduced during Daesung's 'D's IS ME - Encore' concert in Japan last December and later included as a bonus track in his first mini-album 'D's WAVE', receiving positive feedback.
Daesung contributed to the lyrics, expressing, "Like the lyrics 'I promise you, I'll be your umbrella', I hope this song serves as an umbrella for my fans, helping them overcome worries and fears."
Since April, Daesung has been on an Asia tour, starting in Seoul and continuing through Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, Kobe, Singapore, Sydney, and Macau. Upcoming performances are scheduled for Yokohama on the 30th and Kaohsiung on September 20th.
Celebrating his 19th debut anniversary, Daesung is preparing his own content series 'Daesungbangga' and is actively hosting the YouTube channel 'Jipdaesung'.
