Lee Min-jung's LA Dining Adventure: From Makeup Mishaps to YouTube Revelations

South Korean actress Lee Min-jung recently faced a dining dilemma in Los Angeles when she was turned away at the entrance of a popular restaurant.

On the 26th, Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' released a video titled 'Beautiful. Lee Min-jung's Unseen Outing Makeup.'

In the video, Lee shared her plans to enjoy Western cuisine while her husband, actor Lee Byung-hun, was away, teasing a 'Get Ready With Me' segment. She humorously noted, "The staff suggested this concept, but it's impossible in Korea with kids around. It would be over in five minutes."

Before heading out, Lee revealed her makeup pouch, admitting, "I'm not great at makeup. I struggle with eyeliner, and people often ask what's wrong with my eyes when I wear makeup. I usually just apply basic skincare and lip balm."

Upon arriving at the restaurant, a friend jokingly remarked, "Brush your hair. You're a celebrity," bringing laughter. Lee enjoyed appetizers, salad, and tomahawk steak with friends. A friend residing in the U.S. shared a touching story, saying, "When I had my child, Min-jung was there for me, helping me get through it."

Later, Lee attempted to visit a popular fusion Japanese restaurant but was turned away due to a long wait. She shared, "There were eight tables ahead, and they said it would be a 45-minute wait," expressing her disappointment.

Settling at another restaurant, Lee candidly discussed her YouTube endeavors, saying, "I'm not from the YouTube generation. It's more work than I thought. Sometimes we have to reshoot or lose footage."

She added, "I need to prepare diligently, scout locations, and street follow-ups aren't easy. But in LA, I can do things my way," showcasing her free spirit.

Lee also revealed that her husband, Lee Byung-hun, finds her YouTube activities awkward, joking, "He asks if he should speak formally to me." She explained her motivation for YouTube, saying, "It's been over ten years. People say to capture memories, and I feel like YouTube records my memories."
