On the 25th, Billboard announced that "'Golden' has climbed one spot from the previous week to secure its second week at No. 1." The track, which entered the chart earlier last month, initially reached the top on the 11th, briefly slipped to second place, but has now regained its No. 1 position.
According to the data, 'Golden' saw a balanced increase with 33.8 million weekly streams (up 3%), 16.2 million radio airplay impressions (up 39%), and 8,000 sales (up 11%).
Notably, this week's chart features four OST tracks from the series simultaneously in the top 10. 'Golden' by Huntrix (No. 1), 'Your Idol' (No. 4) and 'Soda Pop' (No. 5) by the group Saja Boys, and another Huntrix track 'How It's Done' (No. 10) have all made history as the first time four tracks from a single OST have entered the top 10 simultaneously.
'Golden' is the first track featuring a K-pop female vocalist to top the Hot 100 and has also claimed the No. 1 spot on the UK Official Chart, dominating both major global charts. It joins BTS's 'Butter' and 'Dynamite' as the third K-pop song to spend more than two weeks at the top of the Hot 100.
The success of 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' is also notable. A special sing-along screening held in the U.S. on the 23rd and 24th sold out over 1,000 theaters, propelling it to No. 1 at the North American box office. Experts predict that the continued success of both the series and its OST could lead to 'Golden' maintaining its top position for an extended period.
