TXT's Soobin and Yeonjun Shine with Candid Charm on 'Salon Drip'
On March 31, Soobin and Yeonjun appeared on the popular YouTube channel TEO's program 'Salon Drip.' The duo kicked off the show with high energy, calling out to host Jang Do-yeon and setting a lively tone from the start.
Demonstrating their strong teamwork, honed over eight years since their debut, the two shared honest insights about each other despite their contrasting personalities. Yeonjun opened up about experiencing burnout after his first solo activities, admitting, "I used to share my struggles with those around me, but at some point, I couldn't." Soobin candidly responded, "It felt like Yeonjun was building a wall," and shared a recent story of bonding over drinks, revealing, "I actually cried that day."
Alongside the heartfelt moments, their playful chemistry was also evident. From anecdotes about leaving the group chat during dance practice to stories from their trainee days and fashion critiques, their natural banter shone through. Jang Do-yeon humorously remarked, "Their relationship is like that of a mom and dad," eliciting laughter.
The duo also shared their thoughts on their upcoming comeback. TXT is set to release '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops in the Thornbush' on April 13. This marks their first group album since renewing their contract with Big Hit Music last year. They expressed, "The album is titled '7TH YEAR.' It's an album that tells our story. We've put a lot of thought and effort into it, so we're nervous," heightening anticipation. The mini 8th album reflects the thoughts and emotions of the five members over the past seven years.
Ahead of their comeback, TXT is appearing on various entertainment programs, including tvN's 'Amazing Thursday' and 'Amazing Saturday.'
