Cha Eun-woo has been voted as the number one male singer people want to watch a movie with while enjoying popcorn on a rainy day.
From August 14 to 20, TENASIA conducted a poll asking, 'Which male singer would you like to watch a movie with and eat popcorn on a rainy day?' Cha Eun-woo emerged as the top choice.
On August 24, Cha Eun-woo's YouTube channel released a video titled '[Behind] Chapter 1: Finale Behind l 잘 다녀오겠습니다!(I’ll do well and come back.)' The video showcased Cha Eun-woo's final schedule before his military enlistment, which included a photoshoot. He sported a new short hairstyle, commenting, "If I walk around like this today, people won't recognize me. It reminds me of my younger days when it was trendy to grow and dye just one side of the bangs."
Cha Eun-woo enlisted in the military on September 28 at the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungnam. After completing basic military training, he will serve in the Army Band, with his discharge date set for January 27, 2027.
Park Ji-hoon secured the second spot. Known for his participation in 'Produce 101' Season 2, Park Ji-hoon is both a singer and an actor. He was a member of the group Wanna One from 2017 and began his acting career with the JTBC drama 'Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency.'
He has since appeared in various dramas such as 'Love Revolution,' 'At a Distance, Spring is Green,' and 'Love Song For Illusion,' as well as the film 'Audrey.' His acting skills have been recognized in the series 'Weak Hero Class 1' on Wavve and 'Good Hero Class 2' on Netflix.
The third place went to Juyeon from the group THE BOYZ. On August 1, Juyeon performed the title track 'Stylish' and the song 'AURA' on KBS2's 'Music Bank.' 'Stylish' is a minimal hip-hop-based pop track that showcases THE BOYZ's unique and candid style. THE BOYZ is set to perform at the ATA Festival on September 28.
Currently, on the TENASIA website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which male singer would you like to go on a sauna date with on a hot summer day?' and similar polls for female singers and trot singers.
