On the 23rd, their agency, 325E&C, released an official statement confirming the news. The statement read, "LYn and ISU have decided to part ways after thorough discussions and mutual respect. They are currently finalizing the divorce process. This decision was made amicably and is not due to any fault or blame on either side."
The agency further emphasized, "Throughout their 11-year marriage, both artists have maintained a deep understanding and respect for each other's music and artistic endeavors. Although their legal relationship has ended, they will continue to support each other as musical colleagues."
Despite the divorce, both LYn and ISU will remain with 325E&C. The agency stated, "Both artists are currently active under our label and plan to continue their individual music careers."
The agency concluded by urging the public to refrain from speculative reporting and to offer their warm support to both artists.
LYn and ISU began dating publicly in 2013 and married in 2014. Their relationship faced public scrutiny due to ISU's past legal issues involving charges of soliciting a minor, which resulted in a deferred prosecution.
Despite these challenges, the couple maintained a strong partnership both personally and professionally, even releasing a duet project album titled 'Friendlin' last year. However, after 11 years, they have decided to go their separate ways.
