Korean actress Ko So-young recently gave fans a glimpse into her real-life moments while waiting on set.
On October 22, Ko So-young's YouTube channel, 'Just Ko So-young,' released a video titled 'How Ko So-young Endures Waiting Time on Set (Feat. Oh Eun-young Stay).' The video revealed behind-the-scenes footage from the set of 'Oh Eun-young Stay.'
Ko So-young proudly showcased a coffee truck sent by friends and indulged in a fish cake mukbang, drawing admiration from viewers.
While waiting in a container, Ko So-young confessed, "I didn't sleep at all last night," expressing her fatigue. When asked by the production team what she does while waiting, she replied, "I usually close my eyes or just zone out."
Before filming, Ko So-young mentioned, "I didn't have breakfast," and admitted, "I've been eating a lot of snacks lately. I need to stop." However, the production team surprised her with a gift package of snacks, to which she responded with a smile, "I need it to recharge my sugar levels."
Regarding the temple shoot, Ko So-young shared, "I can't harm living things, so I end up eating light. My stomach feels empty, but I feel at ease. I'm doing both broadcasting and detoxing."
The production team raised a question, "We heard you ate $300 worth of pork belly after the shoot." Ko So-young humorously admitted that after filming near Ssanggyesa Temple and skipping local specialties like clams and grilled deodeok, she returned to Seoul to enjoy pork belly and even pig skin, washed down with alcohol.
Ko So-young also conducted an impromptu 'What's in My Bag' segment, showcasing items like shampoo, body lotion, and mosquito repellent. While using a nasal inhaler, she humorously remarked, "They film everything, really," eliciting laughter.
Visiting Dr. Oh Eun-young, who was also waiting, Ko So-young expressed envy, saying, "You have over 500,000 subscribers, right?" Dr. Oh encouraged viewers to subscribe to Ko So-young's channel, adding a warm touch to the interaction.
Discussing the 'Oh Talk' segment, which involves counseling sessions with the public, Ko So-young revealed, "The shortest session is 7 hours, and sometimes it goes up to 9 hours. We all get tired and develop dark circles, but Dr. Oh seems unfazed. It seems she gains energy from counseling."
At 52, Ko So-young shared, "I never used to take supplements, but now I take lutein and probiotics. My daughter Yoon-seol and I developed mouth ulcers from fatigue. The effects aren't dramatic, but I started believing in probiotics after observing my pet's bowel movements."
