Ahn Bo-hyun Takes on First Lead Role in 'Pretty Crazy'

Actor Ahn Bo-hyun steps into his first leading role on the big screen with the film 'Pretty Crazy'.

Set to release on the 13th, 'Pretty Crazy' is a comedy that follows the story of Gil-gu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), an unemployed young man who gets caught up in a part-time job watching over Seon-ji (played by Im Yoon-ah), who transforms into a devil every night.

Ahn Bo-hyun portrays Gil-gu, a young man living a mundane life after quitting his job. Despite his tall stature and strong build, Gil-gu is a character with a shy and innocent personality hidden behind his first impression. As he meets Seon-ji, he begins to heal his inner wounds.

Ahn Bo-hyun brings Gil-gu's pure and harmless charm to life with a subtle performance, adding depth to the character. His detailed acting, including his 'O expression', hunched shoulders contrasting with his height, and innocent smile, evokes both a protective instinct and a sense of support from the audience.

This film marks a departure from Ahn Bo-hyun's previous intense roles in 'Itaewon Class', 'My Name', 'Military Prosecutor Doberman', and 'Rich Detective'. In 'Pretty Crazy', he challenges himself with a more naive and straightforward character.

Through 'Gil-gu', Ahn Bo-hyun is set to showcase a fresh dynamic with Seon-ji, displaying a sweet and youthful chemistry during the day and a chaotic yet fantastic synergy at night. With his solid acting skills, he is expected to captivate audiences with his new charm.

'Pretty Crazy' will be screened in theaters nationwide starting from the 13th.
