Actor Kang Ji-seop is set to reveal his past involvement with the controversial JMS cult for the first time.
In the final episode of 'Oh Eun-young Stay,' airing on the 11th, Kang Ji-seop will candidly share his untold past and emotional scars. Kang states, "This is the first and last time I will talk about this. I won't mention it again," expressing his desire for closure. He explains, "I went there seeking peace of mind. I didn't know what kind of place it was, and I thought my acting career might end there." Kang recounts how he was first approached by the cult while on his way to a part-time job during college, revealing the shocking reality of the organization.
Kang further shares, "There were all sorts of comments saying I colluded with the cult leader, that I offered women to them," and admits feeling despair when even his close friends turned their backs on him. "I felt like there was no one I could trust in the world," he confesses, adding that he even questioned his existence.
