CIX member Hyunsuk is set to broaden his acting spectrum with a new role.
Hyunsuk will appear as Nam Doyoon in the upcoming TVING short original series 'Me, Myself and I(나, 나 그리고 나)', which premieres on the 18th.
TVING short originals are exclusive short-form content, each episode lasting 1 to 2 minutes, planned and produced by TVING. The 50-episode series 'Me, Myself and I' is a coming-of-age story about an ordinary high school girl who receives help from her future self to overcome challenges and gain life insights. The series is planned and written by Choi Sung-hwan, known for the documentary 'Ryu Jun-yeol and the Photographers in School Uniforms', and directed by Kim Yul, who previously worked on Tooniverse web dramas 'Love Formula 11M' and 'Don't Worry Salgu'.
In the series, Hyunsuk takes on the role of Nam Doyoon, a popular guy with striking looks and confidence, who experiences a range of emotions, including the thrill of first love. The teaser video released on TVING's official social media channels hints at Hyunsuk's bold love confession and intense emotional journey, showcasing a new character transformation.
With his impressive visuals and physical presence, Hyunsuk is expanding his range not only as a member of CIX but also as an 'acting idol'. Since his debut in the 2021 web drama 'When You Fall in Love with a Bully', he has appeared in EBS 1TV's 'The World You Fall Into', Wavve's 'The Chairman is a Grade 9', and the web drama 'The Probability of Meeting Romance on a Trip Season 3.5', captivating audiences with his performances.
CIX, the group Hyunsuk belongs to, restructured as a four-member group after Bae Jinyoung's departure last August. Earlier this year, CIX actively promoted their seventh EP album 'THUNDER FEVER'. All 50 episodes of 'Me, Myself and I', featuring Hyunsuk, will be available on the TVING mobile app starting on the 18th.
