Actor Jung Il-mo Opens Up About Marriage to Younger Wife and Painful Family History

Actor Jung Il-mo shared his story of marrying a wife 30 years his junior and his painful family history.

On the October 7th episode of MBN's 'Special World,' actor Jung Il-mo appeared to candidly discuss what he calls the last love of his life.

During the broadcast, Jung Il-mo began his day with early morning exercise and 108 prostrations, expressing a heavy heart by saying, "I am atoning for my life." He openly confessed his past as a former organized crime member and the pain of being estranged from his children due to three divorces.

He spoke about his current wife, whom he met 12 years ago and has been living with for four years, revealing that they have set up a newlywed home in Busan.

He added, "People sometimes ask if she's my daughter when we're out together. In those moments, my wife firmly says, 'He's my husband.' That really touches me," showing his genuine affection.

Jung Il-mo stated, "I now consider her my last love," and added, "She accepted me as I am."

Meanwhile, Jung Il-mo shared that he has not been in contact with his son from his second marriage for 20 years, admitting, "It's entirely my fault, and I haven't been an honorable father. I hope to meet my son when I'm ready," as he became emotional.
