Choo Sung-hoon, a guest on the SBS variety show 'Shoes Off, Dolsing Fourmen,' revealed his reason for carrying large sums of cash.
On the episode aired on the 5th, Choo Sung-hoon, along with singer Park Ji-hyun and actor Nam Yoon-soo, appeared on the show. During the episode, Choo engaged in a 'gentlemen's battle' with Tak Jae-hoon. Park Ji-hyun, who chose Choo as the winner, mentioned, "I saw Choo Sung-hoon's black card." Choo then showcased his black card, explaining, "The annual fee is 5 million won, and you get a dedicated consultant."
As the money battle continued, Kim Jun-ho commented, "I think Tak Jae-hoon won. Choo Sung-hoon has to pass his wealth to his daughter, Sarang, but Tak Jae-hoon can enjoy it all by himself." Tak Jae-hoon humorously replied, "I have nothing to pass on. I'm busy spending it myself."
A spontaneous 'current cash holding' contest ensued. Tak Jae-hoon revealed he had "1.05 million won in cash," including 1 million won in 50,000 won bills.
Choo Sung-hoon, on the other hand, boasted, "I have 15 million won in cash," showcasing his impressive scale. When others expressed disbelief, Kim Jun-ho shared, "When we traveled to Osaka, he brought 30 million won in a mix of yen and dollars. The surprising part was he just tossed it aside while sleeping." Tak Jae-hoon joked, "There must be a tracker in his wallet."
Regarding why he carries such large amounts of cash, Choo explained, "You need to have cash. Even if I have no money, I gather it to carry at least 10 million won. Having it gives me confidence."
Meanwhile, Choo Sung-hoon discussed his daring actions, such as revealing his home without his wife Yano Shiho's permission and getting tasered, which might upset her. He stated, "I do what I want," showcasing his macho side.
When asked about the moment he knows his wife is truly angry, Choo shared, "She becomes silent. She doesn't talk or make eye contact when I come in. I wonder, 'What did I do?' but I shouldn't bring it up first. Thinking 'What did I do wrong?' is dangerous. You have to act like nothing's wrong," he advised, causing laughter.
In response to a question about a saying in Japan that "getting married twice is a skill, a real man," Choo remarked, "I think I'm still a fake man in Japan," revealing his affectionate side.
