G-Dragon's Taiwan World Tour Draws Massive Attention and Sells Out

G-Dragon's recent world tour stop in Taiwan has captivated local fans, drawing significant attention.

From July 11th to 13th, G-Dragon performed at the Taipei Arena for his 'G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR 'Übermensch'', attracting over 36,000 attendees. All tickets were sold out, and fans who couldn't secure tickets gathered outside the venue, causing a bustling scene.

G-Dragon's arrival and concert were extensively covered by major Taiwanese broadcasters and media outlets. Notably, China Times dedicated an entire front page to a special feature on G-Dragon, an unusual move for a Korean artist. Fans expressed their excitement and support by decorating various parts of the city with billboards, banners, bus ads, and murals.

During the concert, G-Dragon showcased a new rose jacket and a striking blue-violet hairstyle. The performance incorporated live band music and AI technology, embodying the philosophical concept of 'Übermensch' by Nietzsche. Following his Macau performance, he once again used a crane to get closer to fans and performed the OST 'The Moon Represents My Heart' from the movie 'Comrades: Almost a Love Story' in the local language.

The upcoming 'G-DRAGON Media Exhibition: Übermensch' at Taipei 101, starting on July 18th, saw its ticketing server crash within 10 minutes of opening, with all tickets for the month selling out in just 20 minutes.

Prior to Taiwan, G-Dragon completed performances in Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, Macau, Sydney, and Melbourne. His world tour will continue from July 19th in Kuala Lumpur, followed by stops in Jakarta, Hong Kong, the United States, France, and more.
