Actors Yoon Kye-sang and Kim Yo-han are set to captivate viewers with their unique mentor-student chemistry in the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Try: We Become Miracles'.
Premiering on Friday, the 25th, 'Try: We Become Miracles' (hereafter referred to as 'Try') is a comedic coming-of-age sports drama about the unpredictable and eccentric coach Joo Ga-ram and the perpetually last-place Hanyang High School rugby team as they race towards winning the national championship. Directed by Jang Young-seok, who co-directed the drama 'Taxi Driver 2', and written by Im Jin-ah, whose script won the top prize in the SBS Cultural Foundation's script contest, the series features a talented cast including Yoon Kye-sang (as Joo Ga-ram), Im Se-mi (as Bae Yi-ji), and Kim Yo-han (as Yoon Sung-joon), bringing together strong acting skills and vibrant energy.
Yoon Kye-sang takes on the role of 'Joo Ga-ram', a former rugby idol who returns as the quirky new coach of the last-place Hanyang High School team, while Kim Yo-han plays 'Yoon Sung-joon', the disciplined captain of the rugby team, promising an exhilarating character dynamic.
The production team of 'Try' has released the first stills showcasing the unexpected chemistry between Yoon Kye-sang and Kim Yo-han, drawing attention. In the released stills, Joo Ga-ram is seen in a relaxed shirt, as if out for a neighborhood stroll, while leading training. Instead of a strategy board or rugby ball, he is playfully handling a trivial soap bubble, exuding pure innocence. His mischievous expression, as if waiting for the perfect moment to joke, is sure to evoke laughter.
In stark contrast, Yoon Sung-joon's cold demeanor captures attention. In the stills, Yoon Sung-joon stands firmly in front of Joo Ga-ram, shooting a rebellious glare. His expression is devoid of any humor, a sharp contrast to Joo Ga-ram's laid-back and cheeky attitude. Instead, Yoon Sung-joon exudes a resolute charisma, creating an intriguing reversal of roles between coach and player.
'Try' will premiere on Friday, the 25th, at 9:50 PM.
