JTBC's upcoming weekend drama 'Esquire: Lawyers Who Dream of Being Lawyers' (written by Park Mi-hyun, directed by Kim Jae-hong, produced by B.A. Entertainment, SLL, Studio S, co-produced by Storyorum) has unveiled a glimpse into the relationship between Yoon Seok-hoon (played by Lee Jin-wook), the head of the litigation team, and newcomer Kang Hyo-min (played by Jung Chae-yeon).
'Esquire' is an office growth drama that follows the journey of Kang Hyo-min, a righteous and spirited yet socially awkward rookie lawyer at the law firm Yulim, as she grows into a complete lawyer through her interactions with Yoon Seok-hoon, a partner lawyer who exudes coldness but is unmatched in skill.
In the drama, Yoon Seok-hoon and Kang Hyo-min are colleagues at the law firm Yulim, but they have contrasting personalities. Yoon Seok-hoon is a perfectionist who leaves no room for error and is a reserved team leader, making him difficult to approach. In contrast, Kang Hyo-min is quirky and clumsy but has a burning passion for solving cases.
Given their stark differences, it won't be easy for these two to work together seamlessly. The no-nonsense boss Yoon Seok-hoon and the enthusiastic rookie Kang Hyo-min find themselves handling the same cases in the same space, sparking interest in how they will manage to collaborate.
The released photos capture the contrasting atmospheres of the two characters. Although Yoon Seok-hoon and Kang Hyo-min are in the same space, there is a palpable distance between them.
'Esquire' promises to entertain viewers with the unpredictable chemistry between Yoon Seok-hoon and Kang Hyo-min, who seem unlikely to mix easily. While their start may be rocky, anticipation builds around the synergy they will develop as they gradually come to understand each other.
