Melon, the popular music streaming platform, has spotlighted the comebacks of nine artists in the first half of 2025.
On the 10th, Melon announced the first half of 2025 summary of their new album spotlight service, 'Melon Spotlight,' through Melon Magazine.
'Melon Spotlight' is a comeback promotion service that introduces new releases by artists through major exposure slots and exclusive content within the Melon app. Since its introduction in March 2022, it has been operating as a distribution channel for K-pop comeback content on Melon.
The artists featured in the first half of 2025 'Melon Spotlight' include groups IVE, ZEROBASEONE, BLACKPINK's Jennie, NCT's Mark, BTS's Jin, RIIZE, ENHYPEN, KISS OF LIFE, and ILLIT.
Melon utilized large LED screens at locations like Samsung Station K-POP LIVE and Gangnam Station GM-LIVE to broadcast information about these artists' new albums. This year, the LED design was partially revamped.
In addition, various events were organized to facilitate interaction between artists and fans, including fan meet-ups, listening session invitations, video calls, and Music Wave chat events.
IVE participated as the first fan meet-up host with the release of 'IVE EMPATHY.' The event featured group music video viewings, favorite scene introductions by members, and a Q&A session with fans. At the RIIZE fan meet-up, behind-the-scenes album production insights and a Q&A corner were provided.
ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, and ILLIT, previously introduced through 'Melon Highrising's 'Write Your Own Profile,' announced their comebacks via 'Melon Spotlight.'
