Director Lee Sang-geun, known for 'Exit', unveils the first stills from his new comedy 'The Devil Has Moved In', featuring the electrifying chemistry between YoonA and Ahn Bo-hyun.
'The Devil Has Moved In' is a devilish comedy that tells the story of Gil-gu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), an unemployed young man who takes on an extraordinary part-time job of monitoring Seon-ji (played by YoonA), who transforms into a devil every dawn.
YoonA and Ahn Bo-hyun, both known for their acting prowess and star power, meet in this film for a shocking first encounter. YoonA plays the addictive devil Seon-ji, who runs a bakery by day but unknowingly transforms into a high-ranking devil by night. Ahn Bo-hyun portrays the harmless young man Gil-gu, who, by chance, becomes Seon-ji's protector during her nightly transformations. Despite his large build, Gil-gu is pure-hearted and gentle.
The film promises to showcase YoonA and Ahn Bo-hyun in a never-before-seen dynamic. The released stills capture Gil-gu as he embarks on his eerie night job, ensuring Seon-ji can comfortably hydrate by offering her water with a straw. Their intriguing chemistry is sure to captivate audiences.
YoonA shared, "We became close during filming, which made the process comfortable. I believe our chemistry is fully reflected in the film." Ahn Bo-hyun added, "I was impressed by her easygoing nature with the staff and cast. I learned a lot from her as a senior actor and hope to continue working together for a long time." The duo's bond extends beyond mere colleagues, much like their characters in the film, Seon-ji and Gil-gu. Director Lee Sang-geun noted, "They grew closer by collaborating on each scene, and their chemistry became a powerful force in the movie. Their size difference also added to the 'size chemistry' that audiences will enjoy."
'The Devil Has Moved In' is set to hit theaters nationwide on August 13.
