Kim Hieora shared her struggles during the early days of her career, revealing that she considered changing her path after failing numerous auditions. She said, “I worked at a clothing store, participated in flea markets, busked with a friend while selling diffusers, and even sold my own clothes.”

She added, “Then I thought it might be fun to approach auditions as if I were running a business. That's when I started seeing some success.”

Kim Hieora's first drama after her musical career was 'Beyond Evil.' She recalled, "I played a corpse, and the cinematographer said, 'I think we'll see you often.' At that time, I was auditioning for 'The Glory.' I thought it was a minor role, but they kept offering me the significant role of Isara, saying my eyes were extraordinary."

Kim Hieora also expressed her gratitude towards Song Hye-kyo. She shared, "During the script reading for 'The Glory,' Hye-kyo unnie said, 'I really want to do well this time. Please help me. This drama is yours. You have to do well for me to succeed. Do whatever you want.'"

She continued, "I was truly impressed. It made me realize that not just anyone can reach her position. On set, I expected everyone to be arrogant, but Im Ji-yeon and others showed their earnestness. It turned into a real acting competition."
