Actor Park Sung-woong recently showcased his archery skills.
On November 2nd, the eighth episode of Park Sung-woong's YouTube channel 'Yuddaknal' (Perfect Weather for YouTube) was uploaded.
Previously, Park visited the Jincheon National Training Center and teamed up with Im Si-hyun, a three-time archery gold medalist at the Paris Olympics, to compete against national team members Lee Woo-seok and Kang Chae-young in a 2-on-2 match. Despite losing the first set by 5 points, Park's team continued to the second set, which they also lost by 2 points.
After winning the third set, Park saw hope and continued to score consecutive 10s in the fourth set, securing another victory. Before the shoot-off to determine the winner, Park confidently declared, "I won't take any handicap points this time." Despite the tension, Park scored 9 points, impressing everyone, but ultimately lost as the others scored perfect 10s.
Following the archery match, an impromptu table tennis game took place with archery compound team members Choi Eun-kyu and Kim Jong-ho. Park, warming up with Kim Taek-soo, a legendary table tennis player and current national team coach, was challenged by Kim Woo-jin to a friendly wager on the game, which they accepted.
The two displayed their camaraderie, exchanging playful banter like "Why are you looking at me?" and "Sorry, I'll do better," while making mistakes. Kim Taek-soo humorously used a phone instead of a paddle, even falling over while receiving a serve, providing comic relief.
As the game progressed, Kim Taek-soo switched to a proper paddle, impressing the compound team with the difference in play, saying, "The ball is really different." Despite the extended match and waning focus, Park's team ultimately won 2:1.
Concluding the event, Park exchanged warm greetings with the archery team, took group photos, and held an impromptu fan meeting, gifting supplements to the athletes, adding to the heartwarming atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Park Sung-woong continues to engage with fans through diverse content on his YouTube channel 'Yuddaknal.'
