On October 2nd, Nam Bo-ra shared on her Instagram, "I just returned from Uganda... It wasn't a vacation but a volunteer trip," indicating her visit was for a noble cause.
She expressed, "I met children, observed the water environment, and it was a time that broadened my perspective. Every time I return from Africa, I feel like I've grown a bit more."
Alongside her message, Nam Bo-ra shared several photos and videos, including her encounter with the shoebill, a bird often referred to as a descendant of dinosaurs and native to Africa, which amazed her followers.
Nam Bo-ra, the eldest of 13 siblings, gained attention even before her debut in the entertainment industry. She has built a diverse filmography with dramas like 'Glory Jane,' 'Moon Embracing the Sun,' 'Hyo-shim's Independent Life,' and films such as 'New Year Blues' and 'My Brilliant Revenge.'
In May, she tied the knot with a non-celebrity who is currently working as a youth counselor. The couple reportedly met during a volunteer activity in 2019 and developed a romantic relationship.
