Actor Park Jin-young recently opened up about his appearance.
In a recent interview at BH Entertainment's headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, Park Jin-young, who stars in the tvN drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul,' shared his thoughts.
'Our Unwritten Seoul' is a romantic coming-of-age drama airing on tvN, centered around twin sisters who swap lives to find true love and meaning, despite being identical in appearance but different in every other way.
In the drama, Park Jin-young plays Lee Ho-soo, a high school friend of the twins Yu Mi-rae and Yu Mi-ji. His character is a top lawyer at a major law firm, known for his impressive looks and skills.
Park Jin-young expressed, "I had a lot of fun filming with so many people on set. I thought about enjoying the present moment through the good script we had. Since the outcome is uncertain, I felt that being happy and content during the process was enough."
He continued, "Receiving such immense love made me feel that my sincerity was understood, and I was genuinely happy."
He also admitted, "Although I said I wasn't nervous at the production presentation, I was quite tense. However, the director's guidance was very precise, and Bo-young was someone who made me feel at ease. Her trusting gaze naturally made me comfortable."
"The staff's dedication to the script and their care for the project made me realize that ruining it due to nerves would be a bigger mistake. So, I tried to act more naturally and comfortably," he added.
Park Jin-young also gained attention for his looks in 'Our Unwritten Seoul.' When asked about being noted for his appearance, he humorously remarked, "My parents are truly handsome and beautiful. I think I inherited good genes," with a smile.
"When discussing with the director, I thought it would be better if Ho-soo's character wasn't too polished. So, I intentionally kept my hair a bit messy and styled it with a 2:8 parting for the reunion scene. Yet, people still found it appealing, which I'm grateful for. I believe they liked the character itself," he humbly shared.
