The 11th episode depicted Lee Ho-soo grappling with worsening symptoms of sudden hearing loss, prompting him to make difficult decisions about his relationships.
During the episode, Lee Ho-soo eagerly answered a call from Yoo Mi-ji, only to realize he couldn't hear her voice, signaling the severity of his condition.
At the hospital, Lee Ho-soo failed to hear the nurse calling his name. The doctor warned, "The situation is not good. You have two options: maintain the current state or risk losing your hearing entirely. Psychological stability is crucial."
Lee Ho-soo approached Lee Choong-goo, played by Lim Chul-soo, asking, "Please take on a lawsuit for me. It's about my classmate Yoo Mi-rae's retracted sexual harassment case. I need you to resolve what you started."
Meeting with Yoo Mi-ji, Lee Ho-soo candidly admitted, "I'm having issues with this ear too. It's sudden hearing loss, and I don't know if it will get better or worse. Even if it improves, I won't hear like before, and if I'm unlucky, I might lose my hearing completely."
When Yoo Mi-ji insisted, "What does that matter?" Lee Ho-soo drew a line, saying, "I won't be able to talk on the phone, and conversations will become increasingly difficult."
