Choo Sung-hoon, who recently revealed his luxurious home in Tokyo, is set to experience extreme jobs in China.
The joint production by ENA and EBS, 'Choo Sung-hoon's Gotta Earn His Keep,' follows the journey of 'Ajosshi' Choo Sung-hoon as he takes on extreme jobs around the world, earning his meals through hard work. The show has released behind-the-scenes stories and a poster from its first journey in China.
The Chinese poster features Choo Sung-hoon, Kwak Jun-bin, and Lee Eun-ji, all geared up in work clothes, ready for action. The trio, barefoot and wielding large shovels, exude a mix of excitement and determination. Behind them, a mountain of something mysterious hints at the extreme jobs they will tackle in China, sparking curiosity.
In the poster, the trio is assigned roles: Choo Sung-hoon as the team leader, Kwak Jun-bin as the treasurer, and Lee Eun-ji as the entertainment manager and search manager. Choo Sung-hoon, as the team leader, is tasked with finding and securing jobs to earn their meals, serving as the group's moral support.
Meanwhile, Kwak Jun-bin, despite being a 'math dropout,' volunteered as the treasurer to enjoy better meals with the money they earn. Lee Eun-ji, as the entertainment manager and search manager, is responsible for discovering and guiding them to hidden local spots, promising an exciting chemistry among the trio.
As interest grows in their real survival journey with perfect task division, Choo Sung-hoon's determination for this unique challenge is intriguing. He shared, "Taking on extreme jobs worldwide offers experiences I've never had before and provides a great opportunity to communicate with people from different countries," explaining his decision to join 'Choo Sung-hoon's Gotta Earn His Keep.'
Given Choo Sung-hoon's long-standing physical training and jungle experience, the difficulty of these extreme jobs is of particular interest. He commented, "I'm confident in lifting heavy objects due to my strength and fitness from regular exercise. However, there were many other part-time jobs, which made it fun."
Reflecting on his time in China, Choo Sung-hoon highlighted street food as the most memorable experience, saying, "I tried many street foods, and they were all delicious." He added, "Working and living off the money we earned made the filming feel truly real."
Choo Sung-hoon's YouTube channel, known for showcasing popular eateries and food adventures, has been gaining attention, raising anticipation for the local restaurants and food experiences to be featured in 'Choo Sung-hoon's Gotta Earn His Keep.' He noted, "On my YouTube channel, I usually visit places I like, know, or are recommended by friends. This time, it's a completely different experience."
'Choo Sung-hoon's Gotta Earn His Keep' premieres on July 26th at 7:50 PM on ENA and EBS.
