Koyote's Shinji Announces Engagement to Singer Moon Won, Plans 2024 Wedding
Shinji, a member of the co-ed group Koyote, has announced her engagement to singer Moon Won, who is seven years her junior.

Shinji took to her social media to share the news, saying, "You must have been surprised by the news articles. I wanted to tell my fans and acquaintances personally, but the reporters were quicker." She continued, "I apologize for not being able to post immediately as I was in the middle of a wedding photoshoot when the news broke."

She further explained, "Due to the busy schedule with Koyote's album and domestic tour, we had to rush the wedding photoshoot. I promise to personally share the news of our wedding next year."

Her agency, JG Star, also confirmed, "Shinji is currently having her wedding photoshoot on the 23rd and plans to marry in the first half of next year."

The groom-to-be, Moon Won, debuted in 2012 with the ballad "Live with Me." The couple met when Shinji was a DJ for MBC Standard FM's "Single Bungle Show," where Moon Won appeared as a guest, and their relationship blossomed from there.

Ahead of their wedding, Shinji and Moon Won are set to release a duet titled "Salagadoola" on the 26th. The song is a charming love song that expresses the deep emotions of excitement they feel for each other.

Meanwhile, Koyote is celebrating another joyous occasion as Shinji follows in the footsteps of fellow member Kim Jong-min, who married a non-celebrity businesswoman 11 years his junior at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul on April 20th.
