Baby DONT Cry, the rising K-pop group, expressed their excitement about having their debut single produced by (G)I-DLE's Jeon Soyeon.
The group, consisting of members Lee Hyun, Kumi, Mia, and Benny, held a media showcase at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the 23rd to celebrate the release of their debut single 'F Girl'.
Benny shared her thoughts, saying, "It was such an honor. I've always admired (G)I-DLE's performances and was thrilled to hear that Jeon Soyeon would be producing our debut album. She's a senior artist with so much to learn from, and it made me very happy."
Lee Hyun added, "Although we're debuting today, I remember meeting PD Jeon Soyeon when I was still a trainee. She was adorable back then, but she advised us to be more powerful. She seems stronger now, and while we still have a youthful vibe, we aim to become stronger after our debut."
Mia shared behind-the-scenes insights, saying, "I was extremely nervous during recording, which affected my energy levels. Jeon Soyeon helped with mental care and provided precise direction, making it easy to adapt and feel comfortable even though it was our first time."
The debut single 'F Girl', produced by Jeon Soyeon, includes the title track 'F Girl' and the pre-released song 'You'll Regret Missing This Moment'. 'F Girl' is characterized by its lively guitar riff and conveys Baby DONT Cry's message of respecting one's true self beyond grades and numbers.
Baby DONT Cry's debut single 'F Girl' will be available on various online music platforms from 6 PM on the 23rd.
