On the recent episode of ENA's variety show 'My Child's Private Life,' aired on the 22nd, Sarang transformed into an interpreter for her mother, Yano Shiho, who was in Korea for a commercial shoot. The episode showcased Sarang's surprise event for her mother's milestone anniversary.
Yano Shiho and Sarang visited Korea without Choo Sung-hoon. When asked why she was in Korea, Sarang explained, "I came to interpret because I speak Korean better than my mom."
Yano Shiho shared in an interview, "Sarang has been studying Korean a lot lately. She had a purpose to interpret here, so she worked hard on her Korean." As the shoot began, Sarang flawlessly conveyed the photographer's instructions to her mother.
After the first shoot, Sarang prepared a surprise by inflating balloons in the waiting room. She expressed in an interview, "It's a surprise event to celebrate my mom's 30th anniversary in modeling," drawing attention.
Sarang meticulously prepared a message under photos depicting Yano Shiho's 30-year journey. Upon seeing the surprise, Yano Shiho couldn't help but smile and asked, "What's this?"
Sarang congratulated her mother, saying, "Happy 30th anniversary in modeling." As Yano Shiho read Sarang's heartfelt letter, she was moved to tears.
Sarang remarked, "Seeing mom cry made me think it was worth it," with a smile. Yano Shiho expressed, "This is the first time I've received such a celebration, and I'm happy," with a joyful smile.
Yano Shiho, reading Sarang's note saying she wants to be a model like her mom, asked, "Do you want to be a model?" Sarang affirmed her wish.
The duo then participated in a 'twin concept' photo shoot. As Sarang appeared in makeup and a dress, Lee Hyun-yi in the studio exclaimed, "She's so pretty," while Do Kyung-wan lamented, "It's a shame Choo Sung-hoon couldn't see this."
During the shoot, Sarang and Yano Shiho posed closely together. Lee Hyun-yi commented, "Sarang is still young, but there's a story in her eyes," admiring the unique atmosphere.
Choo Sung-hoon, appearing via video call, expressed his surprise and satisfaction, "They look great together, and the photos turned out well. Sarang's expressions seemed natural."
Additionally, Choo Sarang became a one-day transfer student at the high school attended by actor Lee Jong-hyuk's son, Lee Joon-soo.
During an outdoor practical class, the teacher proposed a running race with ice cream as the prize to boost the students' energy. Joon-soo finished second, while Sarang, boasting a height of 167cm at her young age, outran the high school girls to claim first place. Joon-soo remarked, "Sarang ran much faster than I expected. Her long legs made her incredibly fast. I could see Choo Sung-hoon uncle's determination in her. Blood doesn't lie."
As Joon-soo is enrolled in an acting department, an emotional acting class was conducted. Joon-soo demonstrated impressive immersion in response to the teacher's request to "express more anger." Observing this, Lee Hyun-yi and Do Kyung-wan praised, "It felt like watching a drama," and "Joon-soo seems destined to become a great actor."
Sarang also took on her first acting challenge, showcasing roles from a journalist with precise diction to emotional and poignant performances, earning praise for her talent. Joon-soo, observing Sarang's acting, commented, "She has a lot of talent. She embraces it well without hesitation. I didn't notice it before, but I felt it during her acting. She has a rich emotional depth."
