South Korean Actress Lee Si-young Donates $100,000 to Support Pediatric Patients and Medical Advancements

South Korean actress Lee Si-young has made a generous donation of 100 million KRW (approximately $100,000) to Seoul Asan Medical Center to support pediatric patients and the introduction of advanced medical equipment.

Lee's donation will be used to improve the medical facilities and environment at the children's hospital within Seoul Asan Medical Center, aiming to create a better healthcare setting for young patients.

This is not the first time Lee has contributed to charitable causes. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she donated 10 million KRW to support single mothers who were struggling financially. In 2021, she donated 20 million KRW to the non-profit organization Duru to aid abused children, supporting legal reforms, litigation, research, and education to ensure all children receive equal protection.

In both 2021 and 2023, Lee donated 100 million KRW annually to the Beautiful Foundation. Her contributions have supported providing winter supplies to vulnerable communities and aiding youth in welfare blind spots, such as teenage parents and those with borderline intelligence leaving welfare facilities, to help them achieve housing stability and self-reliance.

Lee's latest donation reflects her ongoing commitment to improving the lives of pediatric patients and enhancing medical environments. Her philanthropic efforts extend across various groups in need, including children, teenagers, single-parent families, and vulnerable communities, demonstrating her positive influence.

Lee Si-young is currently captivating audiences with her vibrant and energetic performance in the new ENA drama 'Salon de Holmes,' which premiered on October 16.
