Ji Suk-jin, a beloved cast member of SBS's 'Running Man,' experienced a moment of self-reflection as he approaches his 60th birthday.
On the episode aired on the 22nd, Song Ji-hyo, Yang Se-chan, Ji Ye-eun, and Choi Daniel participated in a quiz competition to determine the 'real tough guy.'
During the show, Ji Suk-jin and Ji Ye-eun formed a mixed duet called 'Chungju Ji Clan' and performed their new song 'Milkshake.'
The production team offered promotional incentives: a free promotion for 30 seconds, a meal for the members if the performance lasted over 50 seconds, and a coffee truck for the entire staff if the full version was performed.
Initially aiming for 50 seconds, they decided to go all out for the coffee truck after being cut off at the highlight. Their debut song, a summer tune about childhood love for milkshakes, brought laughter with their live vocals.
After the performance, Kim Jong-kook suggested, "Replace Ji Suk-jin with an idol for music shows," to which Yoo Jae-suk added, "He'll fund it all. We need to use some marketing. Viral marketing with Ji Jin-hee's help from the Chungju Ji Clan."
Ji Suk-jin and Ji Ye-eun bickered during the game, prompting Kim Jong-kook to comment, "They don't seem that close. It's like a business relationship," with Ji Suk-jin admitting, "We don't match well."
Particularly, Ji Suk-jin faced a potential breakup with Ji Ye-eun after just one day, telling her, "Don't think you're always right."
However, when Ji Suk-jin struggled to eat due to a lack of ice balls, Ji Ye-eun, feeling sympathy, provided him with pork belly and ramen. Yoo Jae-suk praised her, saying, "Ye-eun is treating him like a father."
Meanwhile, Ji Suk-jin fell on a stone floor while rushing to collect ice balls but managed to protect them. He remarked, "I'm fine, but it's embarrassing. Did you see me not drop the ice balls? What is this?" He added, "I feel really conflicted. All my friends are CEOs and presidents."
