Soccer player Jung Woo-young and actress Lee Kwang-ki's daughter, Lee Yeon-ji, are getting married.
The couple will hold their wedding ceremony on the 15th at a location in Seoul. The event will be hosted by popular TV personality Yoo Jae-suk, with a special performance by singer Sohyang. Jung and Lee met through a mutual friends' gathering and developed a romantic relationship, culminating in their marriage after a year of dating.
Jung Woo-young is currently playing as a midfielder for FC Union Berlin in the German Bundesliga. The newlyweds plan to start their married life in Germany.
Previously, Jung expressed his feelings on social media, stating, "I have met someone I love and promised to spend my life with her. We will live happily."
Lee Yeon-ji also shared, "I am marrying someone I want to love forever. Around this time last year, I received a proposal from Woo-young, whose heart was pounding, and now, a year later, we are getting married."
She added, "We've been busy adapting to our new life in Germany and preparing for the wedding. I sincerely thank everyone who has blessed us."
Lee Yeon-ji previously gained attention for her pure and innocent visuals reminiscent of actress Son Ye-jin when she appeared on the SBS variety show 'Good Son, Good Daughter.' She later worked as an art director at a gallery run by her father, Lee Kwang-ki.
