Age Gap Couple Mina and Ryu Phillip Share Generational Differences on 'Immortal Songs'

Singer Mina and her husband Ryu Phillip, who have a 17-year age difference, humorously confessed to experiencing generational differences.

On the October 14th episode of KBS2TV's 'Immortal Songs', the show featured a special segment titled 'Trust Your Older Sister', showcasing couples with significant age gaps.

During the broadcast, Mina candidly revealed, "I'm over 50," while Ryu Phillip shared his affectionate perspective on addressing her, saying, "I've never called her 'noona' (older sister). I wanted to make sure she never felt like an older sister."

Ryu Phillip also reminisced about his first impression of Mina, stating, "When I first saw her, she looked like an elf. I wanted to have a drink with her. Her appearance made the age difference unnoticeable."

When asked about generational differences due to their 17-year age gap, Ryu Phillip admitted, "I didn't notice it while dating, but after marriage, it became apparent. I didn't know she was so technologically challenged. She once made a phone call to transfer money, which shocked me as I'd never seen phone banking before."

Mina coolly acknowledged, "I'm a bit old-fashioned. I'm not good with computers or social media. I find analog more comfortable."

Meanwhile, 'Immortal Songs' is a program where talented vocalists in South Korea reinterpret legendary songs, creating unique performances on stage.
