Girls' Generation member Yuri has announced an exciting new role.
On the 7th, Yuri took to her Instagram to share, "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be the beautiful and special face of Jeju. I'm thrilled to share the charm of Jeju, where nature and culture thrive, with more people🍊," she wrote, adding, "I will sincerely convey the values and stories of Jeju." Alongside her message, she posted several photos.
In the photos, Yuri is seen celebrating her appointment as a promotional ambassador for Jeju Island, holding a wooden plaque with joy. Known for her simple lifestyle in Jeju, often drawing comparisons to 'the second Lee Hyori,' her appointment as an ambassador has garnered significant attention.
Yuri debuted in 2007 as a member of the SM Entertainment girl group Girls' Generation. Recently, she showcased her vibrant presence in Disney+'s original variety show 'The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3.' She also starred in the film 'Dolphin,' released earlier this year, and celebrated Girls' Generation's 17th anniversary on August 5th.
